How will you Colour Your Day?
Here are some ideas to help you COLOUR YOUR DAY. You’ll find downloads available below that will help with making this COLOUR YOUR DAY a successful and engaging day.
Celebrate Each Other:
- Create a colourful Post-it note display with affirmations or lift-ups about people in your class 
- Learn about your unique strengths 
- Create a tower of strength. Have each person write their strength on a Lego or Jenga block and stack them together 
- Host an art exhibition or wearable arts competition 
- Celebrate diversity in your school 
- Partner with a primary/secondary school to celebrate your connections 
Include the Whole School:
- Host an assembly 
- Invite a guest speaker 
- Have a colourful dress-up day 
- Display E Tū Tāngata or Colour Your Day posters 
- Decorate your classrooms 
- Organise a food or clothing drive for a charity near your school 
Make It Fun!
- Organise a colour run 
- Use the #ColourYourDay on social media 
- Run a colourful house competition 
- Chalk the Walk. Use chalk to decorate the school pathways with colourful drawings and lift-ups 
- Organise a colouring competition with our Colour Your Day colouring sheets (see below for downloads) 
- Create colour stations around your school.
